The NC Dinosaurs won the game against the LG Twins in the 2025 KBO League held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Sunday local time after a close game in the 10th inning. Seo Ho-cheol played two hits and three RBIs in five times at bat, including a two-run homer. Park Min-woo had three hits and one RBI in five times at bat. In the 10th inning, Kim Hui-jip doubled to post the finishing RBI.   

In the top of the 10th inning of extra time, when the score was tied at 5-5, NC got on base with Kwon Hee-dong's double on the left-center field. Kim Hwi-jip hit a double in the left-center field, bringing the second baseman home. The lead was 6-5. LG replaced the pitcher from Jang Hyun-sik to Bae Jae-joon. Seo Ho-chul's foul fly to right field gave him two outs and a third base. Park Se-hyuk walked, but Chun Jae-hwan struck out. 

LG faced Bae Jae-hwan, a changed pitcher in the bottom of the 10th inning. Austin's well-hit ball flew to left-center but was caught by left-fielders. Moon Bo-kyung grounded out to second base. Kim Hyun-soo's last out count ended the game. 

On this day, NC's Park Min-woo (2nd baseman), Kim Joo-won (2nd baseman), Son Ah-seop (right wing), Oh Young-soo (designated hitter), Kwon Hee-dong (left wing), Kim Hwi-jip (third baseman), Seo Ho-cheol (1st baseman), Kim Hyung-joon (catcher), and Chun Jae-hwan (middle fielder) started. The NC Dinosaurs have many players injured. Davison (dam), Park Gun-woo (hamstring), and Kim Sung-wook (shoulder) are not listed in the first team roster due to injuries.  

LG has selected Hong Chang-ki (right wing), Moon Sung-joo (designated hitter), Austin (first baseman), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Kim Hyun-soo (left wing), Park Dong-won (catcher), Koo Bon-hyuk (striker), Park Hae-min (midfielder) and Shin Min-jae (second baseman). Oh Ji-hwan, the main shortstop, has been excluded from the starting lineup, which is a rest.

Austin recorded his eighth home run of the season in three consecutive games, tying for first place in home runs along with KIA Wisdom and Hanwha Noh Si-hwan.

NC immediately hit back in the second inning. With one out, Kim Hui-jip got on base with a hit to the left. Seo Ho-cheol hit a change-up (127.5 kilometers) in the middle of the second pitch against LG starter Lim Chan-kyu, who hit a two-run homer over the left fence. The two-run homerun tied the game 2-2 with a 136.8 meter long distance. 

LG ran away again in the bottom of the second inning. Leading hitter Park Dong-won walked and got on base, and Koo Bon-hyuk hit a double to the left-handed side, leading to chances for the second and third bases with no outs. Park Hae-min led 3-2 with a sacrifice fly to right field.

However, he failed to run away from the chance. With runners on third and one out, Shin was out after hitting a shortstop in-field fly. With runners on third and two outs, Hong was out by striking out. 

NC turned the game around in the fourth inning. Leading hitter Kwon Hee-dong made a chance with a two-base hit. Kim Hwi-jip made a sacrifice bunt with one out and three bases. Seo Ho-cheol tied the game 3-3 with a double from the left. Kim Hyung-joon then hit a timely hit to the left to turn the game around 4-3. 

After Chun Jae-hwan stepped down with a fly ball to right field, Park Min-woo hit a double to the right-center to lead to chances on the second and third bases. Kim Joo-won failed to take advantage of the opportunity with a fly ball to center field. 

NC replaced the defense and pitcher from right-hander Son Joo-hwan to left-hander Choi Sung-young in the bottom of the seventh inning. Left-handed hitter Park Hae-min retired due to a fly ball to center field, and right-handed pinch hitter Song Chan-ui was used for Shin Min-jae's at-bat. NC replaced the pitcher again with right-hander Kim Jin-ho.

Song Chan-ui walked and got on base. In the top of the ninth inning, NC`s leadoff hitter Kim Hyung-joon hit a left-handed hit off Kim Young-woo, a changed pitcher. He was replaced by pinch runner Park Young-bin at the first base. 

Chun Jae-hwan attempted a sacrifice bunt on the first pitch, but it was a foul. He swung and missed for the second time, and the first baseman attempted to steal second base and succeeded. Chun Jae-hwan was withdrawn with a strikeout. With one out and second base, Kim Young-woo was replaced by LG, and Jang Hyun-sik came up as a relief pitcher. 

Park Min-woo hit a timely hit to bring the runner on second base home to take a 5-4 lead again.
